CHUCK BENNETT,
Playwright
Chuck Bennett, also known by his alter-ego "Mister Malcolm", has been a staple of Children's Theatre in New Jersey for the last few decades. Equally at home acting on stage, as a Director or in the writer's room, Mr Bennett has premiered multiple original works that are always a hit with young audiences. His scripts for Children's Musicals are always funny, mischievous, and full of surprises.
CLAUDIA PELLEGRINI,
Composer
Claudia Pellegrini is a graduate of Temple University (Master's Degree in Violin Performance).
Writing songs in a variety of styles from a very early age, Claudia composed and music-produced her first original musical in 2015 ("Goldilocks & The 3 Bears", with Script and main lyrics by Chuck Bennett). Since then, with the Story Weavers Theatrical team she has had the chance to write music for many other originals, such as "Peter Pan", "Pinocchio" and "The Jungle Book". These shows have been produced dozens of times all over the U.S.

Claudia currently splits her time composing, producing and performing as a professional Violinist.
KRYSTINA HAWKINSON,
Company Manager
Krystina Hawkinson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre. Since relocating to Philadelphia in 2015, she has appeared onstage with various companies, including Ensemble Arts Philly, Media Theatre, Limelight Theatre Company, In Cahoots Theatre Company, Avenue Theatre Company, and the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, where she currently serves as Assistant to the Producing Artistic Director.
Her journey in children's theatre began in 2016 with Chuck Bennett, igniting her passion for creating engaging experiences for young audiences. Over the years, Krystina has had the privilege of both performing in and directing numerous productions within the Story Weavers Theatrical canon. She deeply admires the collaboration and creativity between Chuck and Claudia and is eager to see their inspiring shows brought to life on more stages.
Bringing theatre to young audiences is not just a job; it's a calling. Krystina encourages you to consider sharing the magic that Story Weavers Theatrical has to offer at your theatre!

With a main cast of 9 people, it has plenty of group songs that can welcome many more roles.

Our version of Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book" is ideal for an ensemble of 8+ performers. It has plenty of group numbers that would benefit from having a larger cast to play the Jungle Animals and sing the backup choral parts.
